Why did you become a spiritual leader and what do you love about Judaism?

I love facilitating moments that lift the ordinary to become sacred, through a blessing or ritual, a wedding, baby naming, funeral, or any moment of awakening in one’s day. I teach sacred language (Hebrew) and Jewish prayer, guiding meditations. I have been an educator for over twenty years, sharing, teaching and leading Jewish traditions, empowering others with tools for sacred living. Jewish traditions held me through my mother’s death, my marriage and my son’s birth. I am training to become a rabbi because I love Judaism; this is the lens through which I see and understand the world.

Are there specific populations, age groups, or folks at a certain life stage who you love working with?

I particularly love working with adults who are driven to learn more– those who want to add Jewish learning and practice to their routines, people who want to “up” their literacy.
