Why did you become a spiritual leader and what do you love about Judaism?
As an educator and ceremonialist, I am passionate about sharing my love of Hebrew and embodied spirituality. I believe in lifelong learning that is rich in ritual, tradition, and innovation. I started studying and singing with Rabbi Jill Hammer and Taya Shere in 2015, receiving the title of Kohenet in 2018. Post Kohenet Institute, I felt it was time to dive into rabbinic Judaism and chose to pursue a Masters of Creative Life and Jewish Studies at AJRCA with an additional year of chaplaincy studies. Since then, I have been leading services independently and teaching Hebrew and Jewish Studies with enthusiasm.
Are there specific populations, age groups, or folks at a certain life stage who you love working with?
I am a youth and adult b’mitzvah educator and Judaism 101 teacher. I enjoy working with people at all stages of life and at all stages of their Jewish journey.
