What’s Happening For Shabbat: December 2022 Edition

🌐 OneTale’s Maya Katz-Ali is hosting a Dialogue Across Difference Shabbat dinner. Think communications skill-building workshop plus delish food + conflict transformation + wine + music, wow what more could you ask for? RSVP here, pay what you can, outdoors, vegetarian meal provided.

❄️ Base Bay in Rockridge is collaborating with Niggun Collective again for song-filled singing (full liturgy in Hebrew, transliteration provided, lots of ya-da-dai). Outdoors (bring layers!), outdoors, masks & rapid test required beforehand. Live near by and want to host? 🌁 If you’ve been curious about The Kitchen, a synagogue without walls in San Francisco, head over there with Carey Averbook. Instrument- & Hebrew-filled services (sweet mix of Sephardi/Mizrahi and Ashkenazi melodies) and a vegetarian dinner afterwards. Indoors, masks optional. Register here for tix that cover dinner. Carey will be posting up at Manny’s at 5pm to hang, then walking over to the SF Friends School around 6pm. 🎼 Join Kehilla virtually for Liturgically Traditional, Radically Inclusive Kabbalat Shabbat aka Rad Trad Kab Shab, song-FULL and full liturgy w/ transliteration, all are welcome. 5.30-6.30pm.

🌿 The classic musical Kabbalat Shabbat at Urban Adamah with Adam Berman & friends, lots of meditation, music, movement, and silence at the farm in West Berkeley. Masks required, outdoors in a covered tent, free but register here.
